Hello everyone! I was browsing some of the posts and this seeme like a friendly community and I'm hoping someone could help guide me in the right direction.
I'm graduating this summer with my B.A. in Economics. I'm also a paralegal. My dream job is to be a BA and wanted to know what skills or qualifications would make me a better candidate to enter the field. Any advice on what steps I should take?
Hi
I am interested in becomming a BA as well. To answer your question,, it depends on what industry you plan to go into. BA usually have expertice in the field in which they work. If you want to go into I.T then maybe look at getting in with an I.T company and see how they work. This can be done as well for any industry. Hope it helps.

Business Analysis is a very immature field. So, unfortunately, you have to make a choice: Do you want to learn what is popular, or what logically makes sense? The two are radically different. Note: To most, the "popular" route feels the safest.

Maybe the name ... but no matter what it is called, it has been done for decades to build a product.
Basically, when someone needs something, you go to them and figure out what they want. You question them, see if it is possible, draw out some possibilities, see if something already exixts (COTS) (Build vs Buy), calculate a price and time frame, get an OK and start.
