Getting a start to BA career

Hi

I need consultation on pursuing Business Analyst career. But I am too confused to take which way and how. I Graduated in 2008 in Business Administration and was employed for another couple of years at sales and operations positions, but none of my experience was a long engagement with any employer. Currently, I am unemployed.

Please don't misunderstand that why I didn't have stable career before, all reasons were family and relocation issues. I am a dedicated professional and always been recognized for my work ethic, but circumstances were never in favor.

Now, I planning to restart my career & interested in BA profile. Also, can consider study option if needed to upgrade my skills. Internet research is not very informative. Please suggest how can i pursue my dream.
