Career Aptitude Test
I found a pretty good career aptitude test at http://www.livecareer.com/

I spent the time to go through it and, unlike some others I've completed, this one seemed to be pretty accurate at identifying my personality type and interests. After completing it they give you a fairly detailed look at the data at no charge. Then of course you can pay for an even more complete report that will also share specific Job Titles/Fields that would fit you well.

Re: Career Aptitude Test

I ran through that test on your recommendation and it's not bad.

Last week I alo sat through a Myers Briggs and came up as an ENTJ.  I wonder if there is a profile that is most suited to the BA role?

Re: Career Aptitude Test

I''ve done Myers Briggs 2 times - 7 years apart and both times came up INTJ. I was a little less introverted the second time around but overall there was less than a 2% deviation.

Has anyone does true colours?

Re: Career Aptitude Test
I took the Myers Briggs about 7-8 years ago. I was an ENTJ if I remember correctly. I think we are starting to see a pattern here among analysts.

As Business Analysts in Agile teams, we often hear about Definition of Ready (DOR) and Definition of Done (DOD). But beyond the buzzwords, these two concepts are powerful tools to drive clarity, consistency, and quality in our work. Definition of Ready ensures a user story is truly ready for development. It answers: Is this story clear, feasible...
In today's fast-paced digital world, successful projects aren't just built on great code—they're built on clarity. And that clarity often comes from one key player: the Business Analyst. At the heart of every great product or system is a need—a business goal, a customer pain point, or a regulatory requirement. But busines...
I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
