Introduction

Hello Fellow Members,

My name is Alain Lee Qui and I have just graduated with a Management Information Science degree and this is my first step in obtaining information in the career path of  Business Analyst. I am located in Syracuse, NY and willing to pursue  all skills needed to become a good Analyst. I am open to any suggestions about what skills I should concentrate on first. I would love your advice on Coursera and Treehouse as tools to supplement my education.

Re: Introduction

An MIS degree can be a great foundation for a BA career.  It's also great to here that you are interested in furthering your knowledge via additional coursework.  However, all of the coursework in the world is no substitute for actual experience. So focus your attention on getting your first BA job.  Then when the time comes if there are skills you feel you need to round out with some coursework that's fine.

Have you looked for entry level work in the BA field yet?
