From Tokyo, Japan

 Hello all, from Tokyo, Japan.

I am new to the forum/site, and in a new job: 'Business Analyst'

I'll introduce myself, and I look forward to interacting with the membership on the site.

I have been in the HR services industry for the last 8 years, still am.

I have just been told I am the new BA for one of the company's service segments.  This is a new position, so I am not replacing anyone, and in many ways creating the role.  Even though the job title is BA, and the job description doesn't fully give me the impression that I will be a BA, I plan to work towards a BA-like contribution to the department and team.

I will have many questions, and hope some of you will be able to steer me in the right direction for the answers.

I look forward to being a part of the community.
