Introduction

Hi all.

I've  been a "true" Business Analyst for about 10 years, and prior to that a Systems Analyst for longer than I would like to remember :-)  I'm currently the only BA at my company which is in the Property Management/Parking Management business. I'm charged with instilling a formal Requirements Development Methodology into the organization while keeping busy with project work.   That's been challenging but not impossible!    I've been doing a lot of research lately here, on the IIBA site and in various other sites (such as Bridiging the Gap and EBG Consulting).  Thank you all for sharing the knowledge because we've cut down on training expense and I haven't had a training budget for 2 years!

I'm looking forward to sharing my trials and tribulations with everyone and hearing what others have tried.  This site is a wonderful resource to all performing analytical work - keep it up!

Warm Regards

Caroline

Re: Introduction

Welcome Caroline,

I hope you enjoy your stay. And I do look forward to some of the trials and tribulations as they allow us  to avoid making the same errors/mistakes; but more importantly, the exchange of information allows us to learn from one another!

warm regards,

K

It answers: Is this story clear, feasible...
In today's fast-paced digital world, successful projects aren't just built on great code—they're built on clarity. And that clarity often comes from one key player: the Business Analyst. At the heart of every great product or system is a need—a business goal, a customer pain point, or a regulatory requirement. But busines...
I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
