Hi,
My name is Will Cheaqui. I am currently working out of the field but am just about ready to start a Master's program at Grand Canyon University Online. I am looking to get connected and hopefully get some advice as I start in this field.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from a school in South Carolina. The most advanced mathematics class I have taken is only Calculus 1, but I did very well in it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I never took statistics in college, but I have gone through MIT's open courseware Introduction to Probability and Statistics. I also am familiar with Excel, R, Python, and basic relational principles.
I would love to get some advice as I get started. My goal in this forum is to grow my knowledge in what I need to learn and where I can learn it, and then turn around and help those after me to learn as well.
Thank you,
Will
Hi Will
I recommend you look at Data Science of some description. Making sense of all the data out their is hugely in demand at the moment and will only get bigger. Fits your background too it looks like.

Thank you Kimbo,
I am absolutely looking into that as well. I plan during some of the breaks to take some training, in addition to my schooling, to be able to get a foundation in Data Science and be able to use my programming and business background to build up my skills in that area.
