Hi.  

Hi,

I'm new to this forum.  I work as a Senior Mainframe programmer in an IT company and have around 8years of experience in the IT industry.  I would like to do CCBA and CBAP certifications.   I dont have any experience as a Business Analyst.   I plan to do these certifications and slowly start off as a Business Analyst in my current company.     

Does CCBA and CBAP certification courses require previous work experience as a Business Analyst.   Please let me know.  Thanks much.

Yes they do - both general BA experience as well as minimum hours in BABOK knowledge areas.  Here's a link to the IIBA site where you can find more information on certifications:
