I am not an IIBA credential holder, but I do tend to wonder if this same issue exists from a CDU perspective for that audience. I also tend to wonder if presentations targeted to IIBA credential holders, which do award CDUs, could be applicable for PMI-PBA holders as well and if so whether that actually happens. The PMI-PBA may be too new for that practice to be widely adopted as of yet. I simply ask that continuing education presenters to begin considering whether the topics that they present can in any way be tied to the knowledge areas and practices for business analysis in general - preferably for both IIBA and PMI-PBA credential holders. It can only help from a project management perspective to ensure that business analysis configures prominently in its literature and its professional development. We BAs are out there, and we are looking to develop, and we are looking to gain credit for that development - and if you build it, we will come.
