You will work a hybrid schedule of three days on site and two days remote in Pomona, CA. (This position is internally titled Director of CRM Administration and User Experience)

What you will be doing:
As the Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for our College's CRM management, administrative applications, and systems as they transition from Raisers Edge to Salesforce. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our CRM platform and related tools, as well as enhancing user experience and optimizing CRM performance. You will evaluate business needs and recommend and devise appropriate technical solutions as well as develop custom code or modifications to enhance and/or interface with Advancement databases and applications.
In addition to managing the CRM platform and databases, you will encompass a broader scope that includes user experience and overseeing the Associate Director of Business Process and User Experience and other staff as assigned.
The anticipated yearly salary range for this position is: $120,000 - $125,000.
How you will spend your time:
Lead testing and approval of all changes with appropriate business unit(s) and stakeholders Administer CRM daily operations; monitor systems and resolve performance issues and other failures. Ensure operational redundancy for all core functions Lead upgrades and planned outages with appropriate division staff Coordinate with Advancement Technology on CRM permissions, ensuring security protocols and access control lists are properly managed Analyze data, design business processes and develop solutions to support CRM data integrity Design training solutions for CRM applications and lead related onboarding and reboarding activities Integrate the CRM system with other databases and applications, such as Engagement Cloud, Blackthorn Events, Datawarehouse, Finance systems etc. in collaboration with key stakeholders and the Database Administrator Develop intuitive UI using the Lightning Web Component framework, and Visualforce pages and controllers Manage incident tickets, debug, and resolve issues relating to CRM Implement customization and configuration changes of CRM inclusive of, but not limited to, custom objects, custom fields, validation rules, user accounts, permission sets and permission set groups, flows, custom metadata, and custom settings Manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud by developing appropriate groups and training materials Hire, assess performance, enhance professional development, and mentor staff; contributing to an inclusive, equitable, and knowledge building culture Plan and execute system updates, patches, and version migrations while minimizing disruptions to data availability and functionality
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, business administration, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience required. Master’s degree a plus. A minimum of 5 years of CRM Administration experience with increasing responsibility is required. A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required. Experience at a higher education institution preferred, experience using Salesforce and/of UCI’s Ascend preferred Deploy professional skills in CRM Administration, in collaboration with colleagues, to best promote the College’s strategic interests. Must also assist and communicate well with parents, students, alumni, volunteers, community partners, and other possible stakeholders. Operate computers proficiently with basic Microsoft Office software (such as Word, Excel, Outlook) and associated professional software such as SQL, Tableau, Cognos, Jenzabar, CX CARS, Raiser’s Edge, and Salesforce. Handle all activities and highly confidential information with patience, discretion, good judgment, courtesy and tact while working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. Define and prioritize realistic/specific goals and objectives, perform multiple projects/tasks, meet deadlines/timelines/schedules, solve problems, respond to others in a timely manner, and work both independently and as a collaborative member of the College with a high standard of integrity and ethics, in support of the College’s strategic vision and the division’s/department’s annual goals.
