I would like to ask the expert and experienced BAs on this forum to talk about their views and experience on systems integration with a Merger and Acquisition.
What are the demands, need-to-know things, common mistakes and trouble shooters for this?

What industry are you working in? I have found that finance mergers tend to be a little bit more complex than other types of mergers that I have worked on. Can you give a high level view of the merger that you would like to know about (e.g. infrastructure merger, software consolidation, assets etc).
Mergers and acquisitions in themselves can be mine fields and are normally run by a programme office or a dedicated project manager/s due to the sheer size and complexity.
Any additional information without putting names would be helpful otherwise I am sure I could write a small book on my experience of mergers and acquisitions.
