Hi,

I am IT software developer with mainly coding exp and some exp on system design, requirement gathering and system analysis.I have taken a break of 5 years after the birth of my child.During this time, i did a 3 yr diploma course ( distance) in management.I wish to return back to work.I  tried to get back to coding after some brush up of latest technologies.I did a 2 month course as well.but not able to get any openings.Even if i get a tech role i ultimately want to move into a business analysis kind of role,so I think it makes sense to go in for certification

1)Am i eligible for ccba exam?

2) Will it help me get a job in India(Mumbai)? Do recruiters in mumbai recognise this certification? Since I do not have a lot of BA experience.

CCBA  Certification Requirements

Each CCBA applicant must meet the requirements specified in this section to be eligible to write the exam.

To earn the CCBA™ designation, applicants must meet the following criteria:

 Minimum 3750 hours of BA work experience aligned with the BABOK® Guide in the last seven years

 Minimum 900 hours in two of the six knowledge areas, or 500 hours in four of the six knowledge areas

 Minimum 21 hours of Professional Development in the past four years

 Two references from a career manager, client or CBAP® recipient

 Signed Code of Conduct
