The book contains three separate but equal methodologies for collecting, controlling and reusing the information resources of a business (universally applicable).
Enterprise Engineering Methodology (EEM) is used to study a business, define it logically and physically, and calculate an Information Strategy suitable for the whole enterprise.
Information Systems Engineering Methodology (ISEM) is used to perform a feasibility study on a systems project, design it logically and physically, and implement accordingly. Software Engineering is considered a subset of ISEM.
Data Base Engineering Methodology (DBEM), is used to design the corporate data base logically and physically in an evolutionary manner using "objects."
Project Management (PM) is used to plan, estimate, schedule, report and control all project activities.
According to author Tim Bryce, "Techniques and tools will come and go; it's the methodology which is of paramount importance."
This technology is based on the original "PRIDE" methodologies which is derived from engineering and manufacturing concepts.
"This book provides management with a complete set of powerful tools for managing the largest information systems projects."

"I am really impressed with your book. Its a heavy "Bible" given all the experience and knowledge you can imagine in the fields of IRM. This book deserves to be a bestseller like 'The Da Vinci Code.' It's a real treasure of knowledge for people involved with IRM, Enterprise Engineering and Systems Development. MBA deserves a lot of credit from the industry for their achievements in this field.
I think you have succeeded in presenting all concepts in a well structured and easy readable form and at the same time easy to navigate."
