IIBA announces ‘gold standard’ certification exam now available in Japanese

(Toronto -  May 8, 2013) The Japan Chapter of International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is pleased to announce the exam for the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) designation as well as supporting documents will be available in Japanese starting May 10, 2013. Candidates for the CBAP® certification must submit an application and fees to register for the exam.  Visit www.IIBA.org/CBAPJapan for details.  The certification program has been carefully designed to be in compliance with the ISO 17024 standard for certifying the competence of personnel. 

 

She adds, “The introduction of a Japanese CBAP® exam translation will help elevate the profession for the entire business community in our country.” IIBA® has members working in a wide range of sectors across Japan.

“In addition to offering the CBAP® exam in Japanese, we will also be launching the CBAP® exam in other applicable business languages, starting with Portuguese in the summer of 2013, with German and French translations to follow shortly thereafter,” says Mr. Bieg. “We are also pleased to be releasing a Spanish translation of the BABOK® Guide.”

Candidates for the CBAP® certification must meet a strict set of criteria, including a minimum of 7500 hours of business analysis experience in the last 10 years that aligns with the BABOK® Guide. Visit www.IIBA.org for full details.
