The reader will learn how to apply best practices for capturing, analyzing, and implementing software requirements through visual models to deliver better results for their business. The authors—experts in eliciting and visualizing requirements—walk readers through a simple but comprehensive language of visual models that has been used on hundreds of real-world, large-scale projects.

Kevin Brennan, Chief Business Analyst and Executive Vice President of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) writes, “
Visual Models for Software Requirements gives IT business analysts a tool they've desperately needed—a set of tested and proven modeling techniques with clear examples and guidelines on when to use them. If you've been struggling to help your stakeholders clearly articulate their requirements, or your development teams don't understand what the business needs, you need to read and apply these ideas.”
