Suggestions that could help improve experience!

I currently have one year experience as a BA, currently I am on a one year break from work due to pregnancy and some personal issues. I still put my resume out there every now and then, but most calls I get from recruiters require 3 years or more experience which is really beginning to scare me. I have to go back to work March of 2015 and I am afraid I may have difficulty finding a BA position. Since I have quite a lot of free time on my hands, I am wondering if there's anything I can do to improve my chances of being able to get a BA job next year. Any suggestion will be helpful please and thank you.
