Business Requirement Vs Functional Requirement
Modified By BA vs BSA on 8/6/2011 5:34:11 PM)

Business requirement represents a true business ASK
Functional requirement represents the solution to satisfy business requirement
A true business requirement often focuses on the actual business need. A good example is: System should route the request to user groups in US and Canada
A good example of functional requirement is: User should select US and then select process to route the request to the user group in Canada

I just wanted to clear my thoughts and that is why I wanted to start this thread, please feel free to pass your thoughts on my statements. Thanks
