Use cases batch up a lot of information; the happy path, the alternative path and the error handling. User stories should be written as smaller slices enabling better prioritisation of each thin slice than a Use case. Writing the acceptance criteria in the form of Given When Then can enable it to feed smoothly into an automation test tool like Cucumber. Merging the requirement definition and test script writing is a goal worth seeking out.
