One of the requirements classifications put up by Don Firesmith (see here) is Sustainability Requirements.
You care about the environment, right?
How do you write up or adress sustainability issues in requirements? Does anyone have examples they could share?
Some thoughts from me; factoring in disposal costs of hardware into cost/benefit analysis, requiring the solution to re-use existing infrastructure, to use renewable energy, measure CO2 emissions from the project outcomes, etc
People?
Hi Craig,
Great topic! It seems like the subject of sustainability is coming up more and more in the business analyst community.
I would love to hear other folk's thoughts on the topic of "Green BA".
