Hi Raj,

Besides the CBAP, there are many training vendors who offer certificates in business analysis (e.g. B2T Training).  Most of those certificates are awarded as a result of completing a set number of business analysis training courses offered by the vendor.

Another thing to consider is the ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis offered through the British Computer Society.

As far as UML certifications go, I do know that the OMG (standards body of UML) offers a UML certification.
