Hi, I recommend esProc or esCalc, they are desktop BI tools, powerful computing script and spreadsheet on data computing, analytics and reporting, quite easier to use than general tools, and the cost is quite appropriate too. But I'm not sure if they can help for sales forecasting.

Here are some cases for sales data analytics:

Statistics on Sales Values of the Top 3 Salespersons Distributed in Respective Product Categories

Top n Clients Accounting for Half of the Total Sales in This Year

Hope it can help you.

What Does Success Look Like? I challenge Business Analysts to view requestors’ requirements as an opportunity to define success. Too often, teams fall into a trap focused on requestors’ prescriptive requirements that are meant to serve as roadmaps for developers and testers.
