2011 Objectives

I was wondering what sort of goals everyone is putting together for 2011.

I have 1 or two Major Projects that I will be driving in the next year as well as many others (not too large or high visibilty but important as well. Also, I am looking to spend a lot of resource time documenting our existing systems and processes as the documentation we currently have is "lacknowking".

Lastly, I plan to train my staff on all functions and knowledge I possiby can. Hopefully will put the team in a better position to spread the wealth as the volume of work that comes my way is not getting and smaller.(Of course i have a few specific topics in mind too start).

Re: 2011 Objectives

Personally I plan to work less, travel more and enjoy life. When I'm retired I won't be thinking about what projects I did or didn't do in 2011. I'll be remembering the good times with friends and family, the great places I visited, the terrific food and drink I consumed and the great concerts I managed to catch.

So accordingly the agenda for 2011 is more guitar lessons, learning to surf finally, trips to Vietnam and to our mates' wedding in the states. Concerts I've already booked are 4 nights of Paul Kelly's A-Z and Jethro Tull.

Happy days!

Kimbo

Re: 2011 Objectives

I am still trying to fundamentally upheave the Business Analysis community by steering it towards discussions of how to effectively do larger scale analysis efforts.  Right now, the vast majority of the "experts" espouse that analysis techniques that work for smaller size efforts can be scaled up to work for larger scale efforts.   Such is not the case and it causes a ton of problems!

I am also focused on catching that 5 pound largemouth bass on a surface plug.

Tony
