Re: Job Application Predicament - help??

Again thanks for the response,

Whilst I don't  disagree with your advise, I would just like to clarify a few things -

The company I previously worked for are a major player in financial services across the world and if they were to take me on in BA role, there would be lots of smaller projects I could work on whilst building my experience similar to projects I have already led with success in my own department prior to my departure.  Not that I saying I am finished article hence the reason keen to persist with Head of IT contact and even if these roles are not for me this time, hopefully with feedback, continuing to develop externally and perhaps even in my current role in line with what Head of IT would look for I can break into a role eventually within this company.

As before I am just not sure how far to push the contact in that I have already asked a lot and

with  advice, help and assistance being great so far but he had advised would pass my details on to recruiting managers and I haven't heard anything for several weeks and I emailed him over a week ago to follow up but he has not comeback to me.

 Rob,

I will have to agree with KJ on his first reply on your post. I agree that if you were doing an outstanding job during your term in the company, then why should they stop from bringing you back? I'm sure the Head of IT, amidst his schedules, will highly consider your request for return. With high demands in the field of IT nowadays, everyone in this particular field just wants the taste of glory. Not to discourage you but keep persisting. It just needs time. At this point, let optimism take place. Just hang in there. Keep your hopes high and just do everything necessary while you wait.
