NEED HELP DECIDING THESIS TOPIC

Hi

I'm a Master Student in Germany who studies Business Information Systems. I'm currently doing my Internship as a Business Analyst at a Telecommunications company in Germany. My everday work involves various kinds of querying using SQL from Oracle database through TOAD for Oracle and other Adhoc analysis that other seniors might need. I really need help in order for me to decide on a topic that might be of interest to my Boss. Right now I;m unable to embark upon even one. My company does not have a model on requirements processing for any analysis. Right now I'm involved in a project that has to do with measuring efficiency of twitter and other web forums as a possible alternative for customer service online especially for telecom companies. But I do not think it sounds very interesting. Anybody out there * Seniors ( who might have some words of encouragement and ideas for me? My situation is seriously bleak as I have to submit my ideas ina  weeks time.
