Senior Equity Products Business Analyst Job in New York, New York
Responsibilities: - Work to defining Business Requirements for both internal teams and for the clients - Write Functional Specifications - assist the technical teams whenever essential - Manage Client / Product expectations - work diligently in a client-facing capacity - Functional Management & Support of Equity Product SDLC Lifecycles - be able to be hands-on support to the software production and development teams when necessary - Provide clients with expert product assistance and troubleshooting of our products & services via telephone and in person. - Perform UAT/ Quality Assurance Testing - work in conjunction with the QA team - Perform Training and Implementation - train and mentor staff and help them - and the teams - to meet their goals

BA or BS in a related field 3+ years of Business Analyst experience in Capital Markets Industry. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project. Experience with writing business requirements and functional specifications. Full product development life cycle knowledge and experience through to successful product execution Experience with quality assurance testing. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as excellent listening skills, as this role requires heavy phone and client contact Demonstrated success in building client relationships The ability to understand the business and technical needs of the client, translate these needs into new products, and perform high-level troubleshooting Interpersonal Skills:
Self-motivated, takes initiative and enjoys the challenge of problem solving Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task Able to work independently yet be a strong team player/ leader Ability to collaborate and work well with multiple organizational and functional departments.
