Technical Business Analyst - Integrated Technologies Job in Reading, MA

The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across both the commercial (business) and technical teams across the organization to support the Integrated Technologies roadmap, which includes such platforms as:
• Central data warehouse
• HCP data asset
• Campaign automation system
• Healthcare Provider (HCP)-centric CRM system
• Reporting & Analytics tools

The Business Analyst will be responsible for eliciting, understanding and documenting the business needs related to initiatives, the business value delivered, to help drive prioritization decisions and communicate them back to stakeholders. He/she will balance complex requirements across a portfolio of applications, drafting business requirements and facilitating reconciliation across sometimes competing priorities for the sake of integration. The BA will support the development of new platforms critical to the business which will support client programs and HCP-targeted campaigns and communications across Aptus Health’s market-facing products.

The successful applicant must have demonstrated experience scoping and documenting:
• System business requirements and use cases
• Business processes, logic and data flows
• User stories / technical requirements
• Standard and ad hoc reporting requests

The right candidate is happy to be the ‘go to’ person to help translate business needs into sufficient detail for technical teams to understand and execute. He/she will then communicate back to the business in a way that clearly articulates not only the functionality of the system, but the value that it provides internally and to Aptus Health clients. The Business Analyst is an energetic, involved team player.

When something needs to be done they jump in to understand and help make it happen, whether that means querying the data to help answer a business question, digging deep to understand what the numbers mean, interviewing stakeholders to find out what the market priorities are, or raising a hand to bring attention to an issue. He/she is an analytic thinker, knows which questions to ask and asks lots of them to make sure that they understand. He/she has keen attention to detail and an eye for quality and takes responsibility to make sure that the team has the information they need to be successful.
